Manager, Field HR Job at SC Johnson

SC Johnson is currently looking for a Manager, Field HR to our plant in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland.


We are looking for a high-energy and action-oriented candidate to drive a broad spectrum of HR initiatives in two locations in Poland – Gorzow and Warsaw. Reporting to the HR Director for Central Europe, this role is responsible for employee relations, onboarding, talent management, leadership development, change management, diversity, performance management, workforce planning and compensation planning / implementation.

This role is a strong partner for the factory team in Gorzow and the commercial team in Warsaw and will partner with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, COEs and external HR partners to ensure the successful delivery of HR programs and initiatives across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HR team located in Gorzow
  • Deliver strong HR support to the business (both strategic and operational)
  • Be a trusted advisor to people on all people related matters
  • Educate, coach and support line managers in people topics 
  • Drive internal engagement / Great Place to WorkÒ initiatives
  • Coordinate the annual HR processes including merit review, performance review and succession planning
  • Lead/participate in various HR projects
  • Collaborate with the local employee forum
  • Drive employer brand and local recruiting initiatives
  • Responsible for the full cycle recruitment process for production roles
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for white collar roles
  • Collaborate with the HR Delivery Center on payroll related topics, onboarding, offboarding and other key employee lifecycle events
  • Lead change management programs and initiatives
  • Responsible for the implementation and/or coordination of applicable training programs

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Relevant Bachelor/master’s degree in HR Management, Economics, or Social Sciences or comparable education
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in HR
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership
  • Good knowledge of polish labor laws / regulations
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and prioritize work appropriately
  • Motivated, dynamic and result-oriented team player with the willingness to learn new things
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Warm hearted, empathetic, employee champion
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Polish skills
  • Very good MS office knowledge

Job Requirements:

– Full Time

– This role anticipates 80% of the time in Gorzow and 20% of time in Warsaw
