Invenco sold to NYSE-listed Vontier in US$80m deal


Auckland-based tech company controlled by Sir Peter Maire and Greg Tomlinson an ‘industry leader’ says buyer.

Invenco provides retail technology for outdoor payments, such as fuel retail.

Auckland-based payments technology company Invenco will be acquired by NYSE-listed industrial technology conglomerate Vontier for US$80 million ($127m) in a deal announced overnight.

Invenco is led by tech entrepreneur Sir Peter Maire and majority owned by interests associated with NBR Lister Greg
