ABOUT THE ROLE – NGĀ ĀHUATANGA O TE TŪRANGA

Operating across the organisation, our Finance Business Partners work collaboratively with Council Teams and it’s CCOs to facilitate the best financial decisions and create value for our ratepayers and communities. The Finance Team cover a diverse portfolio of work from Annual and Long-Term planning to policy development and accounting services. Whilst you will take the lead with a specific portfolio, to ensure a solid knowledge base across the Finance Team , you will work closely with other Finance Business Partners to understand their assigned portfolios of work too.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR – KEI TE KIMI MĀTOU I TĒNEI MOMO TANGATA

Our ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (or possess the equivalent experience). Most importantly you will have exceptional interpersonal skills that will enable you to establish positive working partnerships at all levels of Council. You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities – there’s never a dull moment here! We’re looking for someone who is willing to take ownership of their role and is focused on continuous improvement.
