Accounting Manager – Sheboygan, WI 53081

Job Summary:

As one of four individuals working in the International Accounting group, this position will manage and coordinate all aspects of the international accounting functions and financial reporting duties including, day-to-day issues, month-end closing, reconciliations, reporting, treasury management and VAT fillings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general accounting for the international subsidiaries
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of month-end journal entries
  • Develop, update, and post monthly recurring journal entries
  • Prepare G/L account reconciliations including intercompany reconciliations between Corporate and subsidiary offices
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers (A/P, A/R, Inventory, Cash, and Fixed Assets) to the general ledger
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results
  • Prepare monthly management reporting for the International Division and individual subsidiaries
  • Assist in annual audit and tax of the subsidiaries including interfacing with the local accounting firms
  • Prepare and file VAT returns for the subsidiaries and/or interface with local accounting firms for completion thereof
  • Identify financial accounting opportunities and alternatives to meet company objectives and improve efficiency
  • Work with the corporate team and individual subsidiaries to assist in the integration of the subsidiaries to the new Microsoft D365 ERP system
  • Assist in ensuring proper internal controls
  • Oversee International Treasury Management (JP Morgan)
  • Other projects and duties as assigned for both Corporate and international operations


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with four to six years of related experience and CPA certification required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional and efficient manner
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP system preferred
  • Experience with sales query or similar analytics software preferred
