They manage accounting and reporting for Nike’s multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike’s diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.

The mission of the role will be ensuring accurate financial statements focus mainly on Revenues, Reserves and GM portion of the P/L and developing reports to drive business decisions. Additionally, Compliance Lead ensuring Sox controls, Nike policies and procedures implementation.

What will work on?

  • Deliver accurate Financial Statements based on Nike Accounting Policies focus mainly on Revenues, Reserves and GM portion of the P/L.

  • Gross Margin and NPM analysis and control vs forecast.

  • Quarterly Returns and defective reserve update calculation.

  • Control of revenue electronic invoices.

  • Elevate the Controlling Function developing reports and KPI to drive business decisions.

  • Perform Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliations that ensure financial statement integrity.

  • Annual external audit coordination and financial statements preparation including Inflation adjustment.

  • Lead on the near future the implementation of Digital Biz on Argentina.

  • Compliance lead. Review on Nike Policies and procedures and lead communication of changes to the company.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to give support and get timely risk assessments on PL, Biz trends and key matters.

  • Ensure SOX-compliance controls are performed.

  • Manage projects in a dynamic transformational environment and creatively solve problems to make our Controlling processes more efficient and effective.

What’s required?

  • Public Accountant with good academic background.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and 1 year experience leading a team.

  • Multitasking, result orientated, proactivity and ability to work in a fast-learning environment.

  • Team player focused on enhancing team performance.

  • Strong organization, analytic and communication skills.
